What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Personally, tutoring is all about empowering students to overcome challenges and helping them realise their full potential. I find sharing my passion for mathematics and other subjects to be the most rewarding about tutoring as it enables me to help students develop a similar comfort and proficiency with the subject whilst also continually expanding my own knowledge and understanding. Making a positive impact on a studentβs understanding of a subject and academic success by supporting them throughout their academic journey and strengthening their confidence is truly rewarding.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths as a tutor lies within providing a personalised, supportive, and effective learning experience where I can adapt my teaching approach to the individual learning preferences of each student and having the patience to revisit and reinforce concepts at their own pace through effective communication that enables me to simplify complex topics. Additionally, I strive to enhance the confidence of my students within their abilities by providing them with emotional support and motivation, fostering an environment that prioritises their mental health and well-being alongside their studies.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe the role of a tutor extends beyond academic assistance. I empathise with the pressures and challenges students face, and through my own experiences, I have identified effective strategies that can significantly alleviate their stress. Thus, I aim to guide students on how to manage and cope with stressors associated with exams and studies by providing comprehensive emotional support and learning techniques that can contribute to a manageable learning experience, enabling students to feel more competent and confident within their knowledge and skills.
