Alicia needs significant improvement in her approach towards learning. She finds it difficult to talk aloud despite being prompted. She does not check her work after completing it and tends to make silly mistakes when transferring questions into her book. Alicia is also very defensive about getting questions wrong or not completing her work. Despite the shortcomings, she is a quick learner and picks up concepts quickly. I know it is only early days but Harley and Owen seem to have '˜clicked'. They are working really well and not only is Harley's confidence growing but also his understanding of the maths chapters they have been studying has improved.
