Learning science is full of twists and turns. It's about making embarrassing mistakes, overcoming setbacks and chasing those exhilarating aha moments. If they want to achieve great results students need to put in the time, but they also need to learn at a quicker pace - a learning pace that might not be completely comfortable to them. Some students get to the finish line quicker and some students struggle along the way.

This is exactly when they can benefit from guided learning the most.
We work with great physics tutors in Blackett who can support your child's academic progress. There's always a test or quiz around the corner and with a great tutor guiding them, students tend to feel less overwhelmed.
Tutors are also great role models. It's all about the connection they make with the student. We've found that when a tutor and a child click - that's when learning happens.
That is exactly what we look for in a tutor, someone attuned to the specific needs of your child.
All we need is to have a quick chat with you. We organise a tutor to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
You pay a simple hourly rate. And if it happens that you are not completely happy with the tutor, we consider the first lesson a free trial. Then we keep looking for a better match.
Sounds good so far? We can start looking for a local physics tutor in Blackett right away!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Zoe is a competent worker and she's usually not afraid to questions the work we are doing in an attempt to tease out an understanding of a topic. She's great at taking notes and writing things down but she can struggle to use her understanding of one topic to transfer into the next. This is a skill I hope to work on in the future with her.
Poor at the beginning of term when he had just begun at PEGS, does seem to have picked up in our most recent lesson. Is he starting to settle at school? See 'Attitude'. Very easily distracted. Need to get back into the focus habits we were developing toward the end of last year. Will come with time.
No gaps that are of concern, nor that are seeming to affect progress and performance. No real obvious problem areas content-wise, but judging by the exam, more effort should be put into giving questions a go, and breaking them into smaller parts so that they are more manageable and less intimidating.
Really happy with the tutoring and Stephen is great, really professional. My son is feeling a lot more positive about catching up so really happy.
You have hit the Jackpot! Georgina is very happy with Stephen. Many thanks for all your efforts.
Gianna is a fantastic tutor who has definitely been able to help my son Bryce improve his understanding. Bryce has jumped from a C in Maths to an A- which is proof of excellent work from both Gianna and my son. Thank you.
