What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
One thing I particularly enjoy the most about tutoring is improving the confidence of students that I teach and assist, along with my confidence regarding my interpersonal skills. I believe every student has the potential to achieve incredible success in what they desire to, however, many students struggle with acknowledging and fully maximising their potential. I'm grateful that tutoring gives me opportunity to enable students in realising and unlocking their potential as well as gain confidence in their abilities.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths as a tutor include adaptability and empathy. I understand that every student learns differently hence why a generic approach to teaching isn't the best solution. Being flexible allows me to adapt to various different learning needs to better assist the children that I teach by implementing a suitable teaching style. For instance, a student struggling with memory may require a more engaging approach as well as mnemonics, visual tools, etc. I also possess empathy which helps me in better understanding students, and allows me to assist students academically and mentally.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things in regard to what a tutor can do for their students consist of possessing the adequate skills to effectively teach students by delivering content in an efficient and effective manner. Having a passion for learning and teaching is also important as students are less likely to enjoy a subject that they lack confidence in, and with the right resources, students can develop confidence and knowledge in areas they are weak in. This can also provide a great variety of opportunities for them, such as developing new interests and unlocking a love for learning.
