What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Through experiences of collaborating with peers to understand content at school, I enjoy learning new things within concepts that I am familiar with from the different viewpoints of other peers. Although I have not had any experience with formal tutoring, my experience of collaborating with peers is similar to tutoring as we all learn from one another by sharing our ideas. I believe that the sharing of ideas strengthens understandings, thus improving learning. Additionally, I enjoy communicating in visual ways as I am a visual learner myself.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Although I have not had any professional tutoring experience, I believe that my patience and persistent manner are strengths that meet the requirements of tutoring. My school teachers and supervisors at Future Industries during my work experience have praised me for my persistence whilst working in challenging circumstances. I am motivated by learning new things and by meeting key objectives.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that being able to adjust teaching techniques to support a student in a way that matches their learning style strengthens their understanding and learning. Hence, being open-minded and flexible is an important thing that a tutor can do for a student.
