What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Seeing the progress that students make after a period of time is incredibly rewarding. When i tutor students, I feel like I'm making a difference, especially when I'm able to effectively share my knowledge with them. This positive impact that I leave with them is a lifelong one, and it is my hope that my students leave my sessions with a little bit more confidence in their academic ability than before.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm very patient, and I take the time to ensure that my students fully understand a concept, no matter how long it takes. I'm also a good problem solver, and I take initiative in fulfilling any duties as required. Along with that, I have a good command of English, which helps me deliver lessons with minimal friction with regards to communication.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Tutors should remain respectful at all times when communicating with students, parents, coworkers, etc. Communicating well and showing empathy are important to a student's learning, as well as constant encouragement and a positive attitude. On top of that, tutors should try to personalise their teaching methods to match each student's preferences. For example, if a student learns well with diagrams- tutors should strive to do that.
