Watching a student develop their skills and grow their confidence is very fulfilling and ultimately motivates them to remain dedicated. Need to review and consolidate his understanding of vowels and the 'bossy E.' We need to ensure he can quickly identify when the 'bossy E' applies to words, when he is reading. Need to focus on smoother reading. He often pauses between words to sound them out and it does not flow well. Reading books multiple times and going over difficult words will help.
