What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Throughout my tutoring experience, I have been able to create meaningful and rewarding relationships as a mentor to younger students. Thus, I am very passionate about education and building interpersonal connections. I like to inspire and engage students so they can reap the benefits of learning. In doing so, I am also able to improve my own base knowledge and teaching skills.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
First, I am very flexible and adaptable. I like to cater to students' learning styles and preferences. I always aim to make my lessons engaging and fun. For instance, I have constantly asked for feedback from my students so I can adopt new teaching strategies.
Second, I have excellent organizational and communication skills. I am committed to delivering prepared lessons at specified times. I have also re-scheduled lessons and answered additional questions out-of-hours.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing for a tutor is to ensure that the student enjoys the academic processes and value constructive feedback. Through effective preparation and constant encouragement, tutors can cultivate a positive learning environment. Tutors also have the responsibility to diversify teaching methods and resources. In doing so, they can instil students with life-long skills of problem solving, growth mindset and academic effort.
