Jenson was consistent in asking me for help with questions, and asking for clarification with answers and formulas. This has been a huge improvement since our first lesson, and he should remain consistent with this. Jenson began to write a cheat sheet for his test, writing formulas and reminders for important things to come up in his test.
Jenson sometimes gets confused with some of the steps needed to be taken in some formulas. Teaching him to talk himself through what he is doing and saying things aloud will help improve this, as we will catch himself making an error and move quickly to fix it.

Jensen snowballs his learning. Once he can understand a basic concept, then he quickly absorbs the next part of information. Because of this, Jensen builds extreme confidence in his answers, and is very quick to understand the method required to find his answers. Jensen is continuing to build that confidence in asking me for help, as he prepared a question he wanted to ask at the start of a session about something he did not understand.
Over the course of the next sessions, we will work on Jensen's ability to show his working out. I find myself doing a lot of the equations for him, and letting him figure out the answer in his head. Jensen will work on showing his working out when doing questions, rather than just writing the answer.

Jensen is able to accurately identify apply each of the congruence tests (SSS, SAS, AAS, RHS). Jensen displayed a good level of confidence in his answers, and was not afraid to ask for help.
Jensen should begin to build the habit of labeling the sides and angles of triangles to help him identify the orientation of the triangles.

He has little confidence in asking for help. Understandable considering it was the first lesson, but this is translating from his classroom time. Working on getting him to ask me for help in tutoring sessions will cross over into building that confidence to ask for help in class.
