What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
My favourite part about tutoring is seeing students gain confidence in themselves. It's amazing to watch that moment when something clicks, and they realize they understand a concept they once found difficult. Beyond just teaching information, I love empowering students to think critically and tackle problems on their own. If she doesn't understand them, I will find a memory trigger for her that will help her remember and use different techniques to approach each question.
It's hard to see where she is up to, and the kind of help she needs because I haven't looked at her school workbook or past tests to see where she might be struggling, so it's hard for me to provide her with the right material and homework for her to do to improve her maths.
