What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Although I don't have any formal experience in tutoring I have assisted and taught my peers and family during stressful SAC situations. What I enjoy the most about helping/teaching others is the satisfaction I receive knowing I've helped someone else out and (hopefully) setting them up for success for the upcoming assessment.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am patient and willing to wait for the person on the other end before moving on to the next topic to ensure they fully understand the topic. I approach the same topic in multiple different formats such as first verbally explaining the topic, going through practice materials step by step together and then letting them attempt the work themselves.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do for their student is putting the effort during and outside of scheduled classes. A tutor has a responsibility for their student's success and thus should be available for advice whenever and however possible.
Another trait that I believe is important, is matching the pace of the student and having the patience and dedication to explain the topic how many ever times is required.
