What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping others. One of my goal in life is to make a positive impact to the local community and those around me. One of the ways that I can achieve this goal, is through tutoring. The best part of tutoring, for me, would be when I see the people I helped succeed. I think of it as an honour and privilege to help bring success to the people around me.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am passionate about tutoring. When I teach, I genuinely want to help students get a better grade. I care for their wellbeing as well and I have the patience to teach. Furthermore, I would be willing to learn and improve my teaching style - I am not afraid to go out of my comfort zone, if that would mean a better teaching and learning experience. I believe that my actuarial science degree has equipped me strongly in the maths and economics field; moreover, I prepare myself and study before I tutor, to ensure the best result and experience for students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student would be to care for them. I believe that when we care for the people around us, we would want the best for them. Hence, we would put in the extra effort to help them, to give them nothing less but the best. This not only apply to their studies, but also to their well-being. I believe that by being a tutor, we are also leaders to these students. We should guide them in the right direction, whether in terms of studies, attitude, responsibility or just giving them a few tips for success.
