What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I really enjoy getting my student to a point where they feel confident and good about themselves in an academic sense. I personally know the feeling of struggling in a subject and the feelings that can surround that, so getting my students to a point where they can feel proud of themselves and confident is very fulfilling to me.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have two main strengths as a tutor. First, I bring a very strong working knowledge of the current syllabus; And second, I think my ability to connect and understand where my student isn't understanding the content and targeting that area to build confidence.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing I can do for a student is really just build their foundational understanding of the content. With a strong foundational understanding the students can be more confident and creative in their application in the concepts.

About Andrew

Strong Academic Foundation in Maths and English

With a 95 ATAR and Band 6s in Maths and high Band 5s in English and the Sciences I bring a strong understanding of the expectations and requirements of the NSW high school curriculum. This, in combination with my Mathematics major, means that I am very well equipped to teach and help at all levels of my students' education.

Hi, My name's Andrew! I'm currently a student at the University of Sydney studying Mathematics and Computer Science. When I'm not coding at Uni (which, to be honest, is not much time), I like to hang out with my friends, go on hikes, read and play chess online! I'm really look forward to meeting any new students!
