What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy to watch the 'eureka!' moment within students when they know they have grasped the concept I am teaching. It is very fulfilling to know that your efforts have spurned the growth an development of another individual.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am highly adept in the subjects that I teach, which is reflected in my HSC marks for Mathematics Advanced and Extension 1, and Chemistry, where is received 96/100, 47/50, and 92/100 respectively, which are all in the highest band that can be achieved. My strengths within maths are also reflected in the Actuarial Studies degree I am studying, which is known for it's high level mathematics. I am also good at elucidating concepts and inducing understanding within students through thought-provoking questions.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor must give confidence to the student that they can do well in a subject, regardless of their abilities. At the same time, a tutor must encourage the student to put in the work to succeed in the subject by instilling a love for the subject within student. A tutor must also be able to explain concepts in an easily digestible manner so students are not confused.
