From my point of view and based on my prior experience in this field, the most important and fair thing that a tutor is liable to do is to clarify the main concept to the learner first and then start solving relevant questions without jumping to this stage straightway. Tutor should ensure that the learner has learned the main points of concept first and then improve his/her knowledge by using more and more examples.During this process having a good interaction with the learner plays an essential role.
