What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing the progress my students make while learning new concepts. For example, seeing them grasping a difficult concept or having the slightest improvement in their grades is incredibly rewarding to know that I'm making a positive impact on their learning journey, enabling them to perform better at school. Additionally, I also enjoy forming new connections with students and creating a supportive learning environment for them.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my strengths is the ability to explain complex concepts in simple yet understandable terms to ensure students are are able to understand the concept. This can be done through breaking the concept down step-by-step and checking for student's understanding at the end. Additionally, I am a patient tutor which aids in creating a comfortable learning space and I am always willing to take the time for students to have full comprehension.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
To me, the most important thing a tutor can do is to foster a supportive and positive learning environment. This is because it is important to create a safe and encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improvements. It is also important for the tutor to tailor the teaching approach to each individual to better aid student's needs. Moreover, tutors should also encourage active learning where they encourage students to engage actively by solving problems together, using real-life examples to teach the material.
