What do I enjoy most about tutoring?
The best part about tutoring that I enjoy the most is that while tutoring you are also in the process of learning, you learn new methods, new techniques and also the concepts sit down in your brain in a very concrete manner.
Also while tutoring you get to learn new things about the concepts from the questions from your students, these you might have never thought of them before.
My Strengths as Tutor
My greatest strength for being a tutor is my calm and composed behaviour. I have the patience to sit down and explain the concepts to the student unless and until he/she has completely understood the concept.
Second best trait of mine is the positive attitude that keeps me going. This positive attitude reflects in my teaching and surely will help the students learn faster and better.
Lastly is the effective communication (Verbal & Written) that I possess. This is very important for tutoring and my good command over the language is an added advantage.
Most important things I can do for a student
As a tutor, it is very important that the teacher becomes an inspiration to the student. The passion with which the tutor teaches the student matters a lot and this also influences the students influence on the subject. When a tutor teaches the student with passion, the student is definitely going to like the subject and learn with full passion as well.
Secondly, it is also important that the tutor teaches the student all the required concepts and makes sure that these concepts are imbibed into the students mind. It is the duty of the teacher to see that the student and thoroughly understood.
