What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is using my extensive academic experiences to simplify concepts into something easy to understand for younger students, as I feel satisfied when they fully understand it - the same sensation as solving a difficult maths question. What I also enjoy about tutoring is that it provides me with great opportunities to build on my current set of skills, such as developing my communication and interpersonal skills further.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my biggest strength is that I have well-developed communication skills through experiences in high school leadership and working in various collaborative environments. I also believe my strength is being approachable and comfortable for students. Finally, as I have had many successes in selective school preparation, advanced high school mathematics and IB HL maths, another strength is the plethora of insight, perspective and general tips that I can provide to these younger students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
It is important for a tutor to steer the student into the right direction by giving simplistic explanations to questions or concepts, as poor explanations can confuse and destroy students' thought processes. What is also really important for a tutor is to be non-judgmental and have a personality that can induce questions from students who may be too shy or scared to ask questions during school and need answers.

About Sanghak
Soccer
Ever since the early days of primary school, playing and watching soccer has been a big part of my life. Although I've quit, I must say I still enjoy time-to-time and supporting the national team! My favourite individual player is Heungmin Son.
Medical Student
I am currently a student in the Adelaide University medical school. As a second year student, I am learning about basic physiology, their related diseases and pharmacology as well as practising clinical interactions with simulated patients acting out scenarios. I hope to specialise in an area such as dermatology.
