What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
One of the things I love about tutoring is being able to build meaningful relationships with the students, where we can have a positive environment built upon a strong foundation of support and respect. I’ve found that having a personal relationship with a student leads to success, as the student feels more motivated to complete homework and set goals, and not let their tutor down. Aside from this, I love tutoring as it’s incredibly rewarding, and I’d love for our students to experience the same sort of personal growth and success which I experienced myself over the past few years.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think a key strength of mine is that I’m very genuine, and that I have a true passion for teaching and learning. I’m very determined to help others fulfil their full potential, and I also think my hard-working nature inspires students to be the best that they can possibly be. I’m proud of the fact that I’m outgoing and fun to be with, however I'm also proud that I'm simultaneously able to remain professional and organised when assisting students with their studies. Collectively, I think these traits as well as others make myself a well-rounded tutor.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Something that sets me apart from many other tutors is that I’m very relatable, something which I think is very important to a student. Personally, I’ve known in the past what it’s like to sometimes struggle academically, however, experience has shown me that part of it what it takes to succeed is a great work ethic and an awesome mentor. Being compassionate, empathetic, and understanding of the students’ needs is also very important, and I believe a tutor should strive to listen and communicate with parents, to keep their children on track too.
