What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy the fulfilment that tutoring gives me. It feels great to see the student improving after each session.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
In high school, I had a strong passion for math, which led me to explore concepts in depth and truly understand their foundations. This has allowed me to confidently teach even more complex or less common topics. As a tutor, I focus on guiding students to think for themselves rather than just providing answers. By listening to how they approach problems, I can quickly identify their strengths and areas for improvement. This helps me create a study plan tailored to their needs, ensuring they build a solid understanding of the concepts.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think the most important thing a tutor can do is help students understand not just how to solve problems, but why they matter and how they apply in the real world. When students see the bigger picture, they naturally become more interested in the subject. A tutor should also encourage good learning habits, pushing students to think for themselves instead of just memorizing steps. Most importantly, a tutor should create a comfortable learning environment where students arenβt afraid to ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence in their abilities.
