What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The satisfaction of helping students grasp concepts they once found challenging is what I enjoy most. Additionally, tutoring allows me to stay connected to the subjects I loved most in high school, keeping my passion for learning alive while sharing my knowledge with others.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my greatest strengths as a tutor is my strong sense of organisation, which allows me to effectively plan and prepare content tailored to my students' needs. I prepare clear lesson objectives, break down complex concepts into manageable steps, and provide useful resources to reinforce learning. This level of organisation helps create a smooth and efficient learning experience, allowing students to grasp concepts more effectively and stay on track with their studies.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to empathise. It’s essential to understand how a student feels—whether it’s about the content itself or the teaching style being used. A tutor who can step into a student’s shoes is better able to identify their struggles, adapt their approach, and create a supportive learning environment. Without empathy, a tutor may not fully grasp the student’s needs, making it harder to help them succeed. By truly understanding and connecting with students, a tutor can make learning more engaging, effective, and enjoyable.

My education
Hi, my name is Wania, I graduated from highschool in 2024 and I’m currently studying Speech Pathology at university. I have a strong passion for helping others learn and grow, which is why I love tutoring. In addition to teaching, I enjoy organising and planning, as well as cooking in my free time. My goal as a tutor is to create structured, engaging lessons that make learning enjoyable and effective for my students.
My favourite subjects
I’ve always had a passion for teaching, especially helping students in Years 7-10 with Maths and Science. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed with the right guidance and support. My tutoring style focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps, ensuring my students feel confident in their learning. I love seeing my students grow and develop a genuine interest in these subjects!
Student-Focused Approach & Personal Initiative
Beyond academics, Wania actively participated in a peer mentoring program designed to tutor young children, demonstrating initiative and genuine care for others’ growth. She adapts her teaching methods based on individual needs, using strategies such as assignment guidance and study techniques to ensure lasting understanding. Parents will appreciate Wania’s patient, encouraging manner—she not only helps students achieve results but inspires them to enjoy learning along the way.
