What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy tutoring's rewarding nature. When I was in school there were certain subjects which were hard for me to like, but I realised it had to do with the way I was being taught. When I approached tutoring for these subjects I began to find different perspectives and ways in which I could enjoy studying for these subjects, which ultimately led me to excel and made me thankful for tutoring and what it offers. Thus, led me to become a tutor myself and be able to help future generations to adapt valuable habits while studying in school.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strength to be able to personalise and cater my method of teaching to each specific student is my best asset. Moreover, I'm very engaging when it comes to tutoring as I like to encourage the student to build the relationship as if i'm a classmate studying with them and helping them for an exam. Furthermore, I am able to adapt to any style of teaching wether it be face to face or online through zoom, even wether I have my computer or i'm drawing on a whiteboard off the top of my head.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing by far is engagement. Tutoring is good, although it can only do so much if the students interest is elsewhere. The best thing a tutor can do is help the student engage more in school as the student will spend 80% of their time in the classroom and 20% with a tutor so using that 80% to your advantage is the most important thing a tutor can do for a student.
