What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I most enjoy seeing the development in my students' skills as I work with them over the sessions. In seeing good results and improvement, I feel a sense of accomplishment and pride in both the students and myself.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths as a tutor lay in my flexibility in teaching methods as well as my ability to connect well with students. I specifically tailor my resources and teaching methods depending on the student's needs, and am always ready to try new things to ensure the student can learn well. Additionally, I've had experience with students in a large range of grades starting from year 2, so I have realised that it's important to develop a positive bond with the students so they can associate such positivity with their learning as well.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do for a student would be to help them build confidence and foster a safe environment with great patience. Mental confidence in one's skills is just as important as the skills themselves. In helping the student gain confidence in their academics, their overall approach to their learning can change positively as well as allow for greater progress. Furthermore, a safe environment is incredibly important to connect with the student and allow them to feel comfortable enough to ask questions and clarification during the learning process.
