What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love seeing my students gain confidence in themselves. Like when a subject they struggled with in the past becomes fun and challenging for them. And how they enjoy and participate in their classes more now. I can’t be prouder knowing I was able to empower them and help them realize their potential.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strength as a tutor is being encouraging and adaptable. My prior experience in peer mentoring and work has helped me develop strong communication skills and genuine investment in students learning. I know that every students have different learning styles and pacing, I can accommodate them by personalizing explanations and practice questions or adapt the pacing through materials. With this, I believe that I can help my students succeed.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As a tutor, the most valuable thing we can do is to inspire our student to be more confident in their abilities. We must help students build their own critical thinking and problem solving skills for their long-term success. I believe fostering an encouraging space that prioritizes learning over being right or wrong is best for this.
