What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I love and enjoy most about tutoring is to help students to understand challenging concepts and seeing the moment when things finally start making sense. Even in high school, I used to teach and help out my friends in maths with challenging questions. I love sharing my passion for teaching and inspire others to develop a love for the subject especially in maths. As a tutor, it is truly rewarding seeing the students progress, getting the results they wish and gaining confidence overtime. I will dedicate my time and effort into helping them out to ensure their success.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I am approachable, persistent, adaptable, patient, empathetic and try to create a supportive and positive environment. I will break down complex questions into easier parts and explain each part thoroughly allowing the students to understand it clearly. I take the time to ensure that they feel comfortable with each step before moving on, ensuring theyβre not left behind. I am also able to change my learning method depending on the student's learning style. From personal experience, I understand that it is hard to grasp some concepts and require more time.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think one of the most important things a tutor can do is build the confidence of the students by helping them understand the concepts which they struggle with. I will create a supportive environment where the students are comfortable asking questions and communicating with me to gain confidence. Maths is one of the subjects where students have to get confident to try the harder questions and I want to be the tutor who provides the students with the guidance to achieve this. I will continuously encourage them and provide motivation to achieve their goals.
