What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I personally struggled quite a bit through the initial years of Year 10, so I understand what students face. To me tutoring is a way through which we can help students believe in themselves and bring a smile on their face. The happiness on their parents face brings me joy too.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, i focus more on an overall development than just focusing on the subject. I try to help students to work on their STAR skills. Moreover, I am very patient with my students and I actually encourage them to ask a lot of doubts. I find unique ways to teach my students, depending on what type of learning methods they have ( visual, auditory, Kinesthetic), Ive also been trained to teach students with ADHD and other special needs. I make my sessions fun and reward based.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Be their friend and role model. Students have already enough to deal with in school. They need someone to listen to them and help them to clarify all their doubts. In a nutshell, I think a tutor must be :
--> A friend
--> An academic trainer
--> A mentor
--> A planner
