What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
One thing I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing my students build confidence as they grow over time. At my old tutoring experience I found it extremely rewarding to watch them go from struggling with a concept to having that moment when it finally clicks. Beyond academics I also really enjoyed building positive relationships with my students, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, talking to me about random things that happened at school.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Some of my key strengths as a tutor involve my patience. I understand that all students learn at different paces, and that by sticking with them I am able to make them feel comfortable and supported in their learning. I feel that working for so long I have developed strong communication skills, being able to explain concepts to kids in different ways while trying to keep them engaged.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to being able to support them as much as they can with their learning. When i was younger in school I always found myself to be more motivated when my teachers encouraged me in the classroom and comforted me when I was struggling. I believe that fostering a safe learning space where students are away from judgement leads to more effective learning
