What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy the feeling of upbringing the children who are particularly struggling in that subject by making it fun and interactive to learn. I love providing students with self confidence so that they can achieve their academic goals.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think my biggest strength as a tutor is my ability to bond with the student on a deeper level and allowing them to be comfortable, and share their thoughts freely. This bonding is very important as it allows the student to clearly express their opinions and state what they need help with without being afraid. Maintaining authority is also equally important but going beyond your role as a tutor and bonding with them as a friend promotes better learning.
My other strength is to create interactive and fun lessons for the students through frequent questions and activities which are interesting.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The ability to not judge the student's level of knowledge in a subject and be keen on helping them is very important as a tutor. A tutor also needs to adhere to the learning needs of the student. If a student needs more help in a topic compared to others, i think its important to cater to that and not ignore it. Not being overly authoritative is also very important as it keeps the students motivated and open to share their opinions.
