What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I really enjoy helping other people and I believe that while tutoring I also learn extremely valuable lessons myself in communication and how to explain concepts. Overall I just want to see people succeed and tutoring helped me a lot in English and I believe I could have the same impact, particularly in content heavy subjects which I tended to excel in.My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I believe my biggest strength is being able to break down questions and hard topics that students donโt understand into smaller and more manageable pieces. This was my approach in my own HSC and how I explained things to my friends in class. For example breaking down high mark math questions into the smaller steps it takes to solve them was how I achieved a 97 in Standard.Most important things I can do for a student ๐
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to keep them engaged and go at a pace that works for them - to push them but not overwhelm them where they canโt understand one topic before moving to the next (much like the concept of progressive overload in PDHPE)Subjects Tutored ๐
