What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

- Ignite a genuine passion for learning in my students while sharing the insights I’ve gained from my own school experiences. - Students often encounter a host of unfamiliar concepts, a significant increase in workload, and, most importantly, difficulties in grasping problem-solving techniques. Having completed a Double Mathematics Major, I have cultivated effective strategies to navigate these challenges, and I take immense satisfaction in passing these insights on to my students.

- One of my greatest strengths as a tutor is my ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of students. This skill has been honed through my experience as a lifeguard, where I learned to convey critical information to individuals with varying levels of comprehension. - When I notice a student processing information at a slower pace, I utilise tools like OneNote to create well-organised folders that include worked examples, practice questions, and presentation slides. - I structure each session by asking students to come prepared with questions to assess their engagement.

- In addition to academic support, it is important to recognise that students often encounter personal challenges that can impact their studies. I firmly believe that extracurricular interests and hobbies should enhance their lives rather than feel burdensome. Therefore, I think it is important to work collaboratively with students to help them strike a balance between their passions and academic pursuits. It is important to consistently emphasise the importance of time management, enabling them to make informed decisions about how they allocate their time without becoming overwhelmed.
