What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the chance to help others feel seen in how they learn. I’ve always needed a hands-on, engaging approach to learning, and I remember how much it meant when teachers recognised that and kept me curious. They lit a spark in me, and that’s what I want to do for others. Adapt to their learning style, build their confidence, and help them discover that they’re more capable than they think.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my biggest strengths as a tutor is my ability to adapt to different learning styles. Because I’ve experienced what it’s like to learn differently, I’m patient and creative when it comes to explaining concepts in new ways. I’m also empathetic. I know how discouraging it can feel to be stuck, so I aim to make students feel supported and capable. I’m enthusiastic, hands-on, and always looking for ways to keep learning engaging and approachable, no matter the topic.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student are to build their confidence, adapt to their learning style, and create a safe space for questions and mistakes. It's not just about helping them understand the content. It’s about helping them believe they can understand it. A good tutor should be patient, encouraging, and flexible, working with the student’s strengths while supporting their weaknesses. Most importantly, they should inspire curiosity and a genuine interest in learning.
