What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping people understand something they didn't before. I study Actuarial Science at Curtin University and recently taught someone else in my class how options (the financial instrument) work. I think that the most important thing a tutor can do is to help the student understand a concept they didn't before and keep it fun and engaging at the same time. If someone has really struggled with something before, explaining it again to them might not help.
