What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I think the most enjoyable part of tutoring is getting to watch your students do well and improve overtime. I've had a few students who absolutely hated maths but their parents didn't want them to fall behind. Watching as we were slowly able to go from half an hour lessons to two hours lessons overtime was so so rewarding, considering they were understanding better and their dislike for the subject was slowly fading.
So definitely the most rewarding part of tutoring is watching students flourish and succeed.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor is my ability to explain things simply in a way that I know my students will be able to understand. Since I've been tutoring for a while, I've come to understand the differing needs of different students and adapt the way I teach to benefit them.
Hence, I would say my greatest strength as a tutor is adapting to the abilities and needs of my students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to give them the confidence to be able to succeed, whether it's just improving in the subject being taught or making the experience of the subject less daunting. Tutors aren't just here to teach, we're here to help them succeed. I'd want my students to leave with not just a better understanding of the subject, but also the confidence to ask for help and clarification whenever it's needed.
