I enjoy the satisfaction gained from knowing that my guidance and assistance through tutoring has helped someone learn and perform better, and overcome the challenges they were facing beforehand. A tutor needs to be patient and understanding, as not all students are the same in terms of the amount of time it takes them to properly understand or grasp a topic. I believe that I have these traits, along with being able to communicate and teach with great clarity. I have also had brief experience with informal tutoring in the past, teaching underprivileged students maths after school. I found myself very comfortable with teaching the children and being able to help them, even in a short span of time.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor should be able to adapt to each individual student and build a connection with a student in such a way that the student feels comfortable with the study environment and is able to learn better, without fear, unnecessary pressure or nervousness. These are some things that may often occur if a student does not get the support they require, or when taught by someone who does not properly cater to them.
