What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I consider myself an active learner. Sometimes there can be instances where kids teach you a lot. There may be some concept which one may feel he/she is confident about but when kids ask a question, the tutor may realize that the same fact/doubt never crossed over his mind. Hence I am looking forward to these kinds of situations where I get to learn.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I would define my greatest strength as my patience. Kids often tend not to understand a concept in one go. Hence one needs to keep patience and rather not get irritated by their questions and not understanding the fact one is trying to teach. Second strength would be an extension of the first scenario only where I would define myself as flexible and cooperative. If in a situation a kid is not able to understand from one process then I would mend my ways according to the kid in order to make him/ her understand. The third strength is would categorize is as an active learner that kids teach you.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Every child is unique, so he/she has to be dealt with and moulded accordingly. The greatest thing in my eyes that a tutor can do for a student is listening to the student requirements as to what or where he/she needs special attention, or what he is grabbing or not. The greatest asset to this is communication, a student can only open his/her heart with his tutor if they have a good level of communication and trust. Hence the greatest responsibility for a tutor is to provide assurance to the student at the same time providing space to the student in order to explore one's own thought.
