I am a university student majoring in Marine Science at The University of Western Australia. I have always had a strong passion towards saving sharks and doing my research in the field, and I am so grateful that I am following that path. My favourite shark species is the Scalloped Hammerhead sharks!! A field of Marine Science requires you to have so many different skills, including diving, mathematics, physics, biology, and geology. It is very interesting to know how climate and the earth's activity have shaped the earth we live in now, and how it is going to change due to human activities. I like reading fantasy books, going snorkelling, and hanging out by the beach with my friends in my free time. I am so excited to meet many future bright minds!!
I used to get really bad grades in math, struggling to "get" the question right. I felt like I will never score high when I was in high school. I was ashamed to ask questions to teachers at first because of how basic my question would appear to them. Then, I started reaching out one day, asking more questions to teachers. They were very supportive and enthusiastic to teach me, even if it was the smallest question. I started loving math from that day onward, starting to realize how fun and satisfying it is when I understand the question correctly. I always want to teach students who are struggling with their studies and want them to experience how much fun it is to learn new things. Math is a fascinating universal language which we can use to communicate with so many different people. Learning starts from asking questions, and I always love a student who builds up the courage to ask, and is keen to learn!!

When the ratio becomes fractions, he finds it harder to recognize the pattern. We did several practice with converting fractions to ratios, and he could understand the concept well by the end of the session.
He could answer some of the measurement questions easily. When I drew out a diagram to explain subtraction, he could understand the concept slightly better.

It seemed like the questions from EzyMath might be too challenging for him. He said that he could not understand subtraction with three digits. I advised the client to obtain a worksheet from his school or some homework if he has so that the lessons match his current level, as well as putting in some challenging questions for him.
He could spell out many of the words I have given. We spelled out some words describing his worm drawings, Bob the earth worm. He also could do some subtractions.
