What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
When a student asks me "was that really that simple?" I really enjoy that.
I also enjoy when I show the students that these basic concepts have application in real life from WiFi to road design and travel to Mars. When we turn the "boring" math assignment to an interesting game is also joyful.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
In addition to my extensive industry and teaching experiences I recently completed a masters course at the University of Western Australia.
I am able to make a good connection with junior and secondary school students and have a strong ability to explain the concepts in simple ways. I probably learned this skill through reading Isaac Asimov books when I was young.
I have a diverse background in academic research and industry, so I I always have some examples of the application of the scientific and math concepts in real life. This would really encourage students to learn the concepts.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
To give the student confidence and show them that the subject is not beyond their understandings. Prove that It's not difficult but needs to be approached correctly. Almost all students have more than enough talent to do their study, the most import thing in tutoring is to help them to uncover that (sometimes) hidden talent.
