What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Being able to teach somebody else and making a difference in the way they view their subjects, and hopefully helping them to build confidence in those areas. Also, being able to see them build their love and independence when learning a subject is what pushes me to enjoy teaching.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Having patience and attention to explain information, I am willing to do my best to ensure that students feel comfortable to clear their doubts with me. Also being able to break down information step by step such that they learning the thinking process to solve different issues using the same methods.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing is to encourage a student to be independent and learning how to solve their own problems. So, by not giving them the answers outright but ensuring that they are taught key methods that enable them to solve their own issue is very important especially in the long term.

About Hazel
Sporty girl
I enjoy having fun outdoors doing all sorts of sports like soccer, badminton, cycling and table tennis. I have also been playing sports since young and was a track and field athlete.
Leadership Through Coaching and Mentoring
As Vice Captain for both football and table tennis teams, Hazel has hands-on experience guiding younger teammates, developing training plans, and fostering team spirit. Her ability to mentor others shines through not only in sport but also during her time supporting patients by providing clear instructions—skills directly transferable to helping students set goals, stay motivated, and build confidence in their learning.
Adaptable Approach With Real-World Problem Solving
Having managed busy environments that required multitasking and quick thinking—from customer service roles to assisting chiropractors—Hazel excels at adapting explanations to each student’s needs. Her participation in chess competitions highlights her strategic mindset, which she applies when breaking down tricky problems or tailoring sessions for different learning styles. Parents can trust Hazel’s approachable nature and real-world perspective to support students of all abilities.
