What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy empowering students to feel passionate about education; not everyone has access to a good teacher, and I want to be one for them. I want to provide a safe space for students to grow and gain knowledge and also help students achieve goals they have set for themselves.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am patient, calm and polite. If a student does not understand my explanations, I am quick on my feet to adapt to their learning style. I am also very encouraging to anyone who feels frustrated and am not hesitant in re-instilling faith in a student.

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is be patient and adapt to their learning style. Not everyone learns the same way, with the same words or at the same time. It is of utmost importance to showcase your belief in them and empower them to enjoy what they are studying and not just do it for the sake of school but do it for themselves. Tutors should be a foundation on which students can build their confidence; we are there to provide a safe space for students to enjoy learning.
