What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I love helping others wrap their heads around tricky AI concepts, like when someone finally gets how a neural network works after struggling with it. As a CS student majoring in AI and data science, I've tutored classmates in machine learning courses, and it's awesome to see them go from confused to confident. It also sharpens my own skills along the way.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I'm pretty patient and good at breaking down complex code or algorithms into simple steps. I adapt to how the student learnsβmaybe walking through a Python script line by line, using visuals for data flows, or real-world examples like predicting trends in datasets. From tutoring in data science labs, I stay organized by prepping examples ahead, which keeps things smooth.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Build their confidence so they can solve problems independently, like debugging code on their own. A tutor should encourage questions, give clear explanations without spoon-feeding answers, and track progress to keep motivation up, especially during tough project deadlines in uni.
