Take a few minutes to skim through our testimonials. You'll no doubt feel a sense of surprise. People's experience shows that tutoring does so much more than just boost grades. It changes lives. Like most parents you are probably looking for an English tutor to help your child with some specific goal or challenge. However, with the right tutor, you get so much more.
Once a student has the experience of progress and accomplishment they learn, and start to internalize, the idea "If I try, I can accomplish". This confidence often results in a performance improvement across all subjects, not just English and starts a student on the cycle of success. It's addictive too! Having a sense of confidence in one's own abilities is so rewarding!
We'll provide an English tutor in Strathfield or any other location that works for you. Tell us where works. Tell us when works. Tell us any specific requests. We'll do the rest.
Give us a quick buzz on 1300 312 354 and speak to one of our consultants. It should take them 10-15 minutes to get a brief understanding of your needs and availability. The next thing from there, a local Strathfield English tutor will contact you to organise the first lesson. Guess what else? The first lesson is a trial - so if you don't like it, you won't be charged.
The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
-Vocabulary is improving well; finding new words and applying them in context seems to be working -Analysing/recognising/utilising aesthetic and literary features is better as well (similes and metaphors are coming through a lot more; we can continue to try more advanced devices such as oxymoron) -Creative writing for monologues is quite difficult and unlike most other styles so keep this in mind and remember to write in the style of the play
Bianca is quite relaxed about her work, but will need to spend more time on it as it becomes more difficult. I'd like to see Bianca want to excel with mathematics, and not just be comfortable with the marks she is currently achieving because she has the capability to excel. At the moment, Bianca shows she is very laid back with her work, but I'd like to see her have the desire to want to do better.
Tom has a test upcoming, and there are still gaps in areas that will be tested. He has the information and methods to succeed but he must still work outside of lessons and tutorials to reaffirm these skills.
I have been meaning to email but time got away. Hazel is loving Rabiba! She's just perfect for her. In fact when we discussed extending the time to two hours in a week or so Hazel agreed instantly. I was in shock. We are all very happy with her so far. She's very reliable and polite.
Carol has been great with Sarah and as you said it takes a few months to start seeing an impact., but Sarah understands her and relates well to Carol.
Nandi is fantastic and Izzy has developed a great relationship with her. She is a treasure.
