What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to work collaboratively with students to set and achieve their own learning goals. I value the fact that every student learns and thinks differently, and I enjoy exploring a variety of teaching approaches to find what works best for each individual. Watching students grow in confidence and understanding is incredibly rewarding, and I strive to ensure that every learning experience is both meaningful and tailored to their unique needs.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe one of my key strengths is my ability to see each student as an individual. Rather than trying to fit them into a single model of learning, I focus on understanding and appreciating their unique strengths and preferences. My goal is to help each student find a learning approach that not only supports their growth but also makes the process enjoyable and engaging.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Listen, encourage, and support. These are the principles I bring to every tutoring session. I've found that students who are struggling academically often face deeper challenges with confidence. Rebuilding that confidence is, in my view, one of the most underrated yet impactful aspects of tutoring. When students begin to believe in themselves again, they become more engaged, curious, and willing to understand their mistakes; shifting the focus from simply being "wrong" to exploring why something went wrong and how to improve.
