What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to make a genuine difference in a studentβs academic journey. For example, one of my Year 6 students once struggled with negative numbers, but through consistent support she has since shown remarkable growth and now achieves A grades in mathematics. Seeing students improve and gain confidence gives me a great sense of accomplishment, knowing I have helped make learning easier for them.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I believe my strengths as a tutor are dedication, patience, and the ability to quickly identify where students are struggling. My passion for helping others motivates me to bring out the best in each student. Through both tutoring and supporting peers throughout high school, I developed strong skills in explaining concepts clearly and adapting my approach to meet individual learning needs.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do is inspire students to persevere, regardless of their current grades. Building trust and providing encouragement motivates students to stay engaged and develop confidence in their own abilities. With this foundation, students are more likely to build resilience, discover enjoyment in learning, and make lasting progress.
