What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really enjoy helping students progress with their learning, and helping them understand difficult concepts. I also really enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and hopefully get them excited about topics (especially in science). I also really enjoy getting to know the student and getting to know how they learn and about their interests.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My preferred tutoring strategy is to lead students through their learning and guide their thinking as opposed to telling them the answer as some others may do. I am very patient and willing to work with students to come up with different or creative ways to approach a problem that they may find difficult to understand. I also have a thourough understanding of the content I teach and will be able to answer questions, or complete research to answer them.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor must be willing to work with and adapt for each student. It is critical to not treat tutoring as one-size-fits-all - indeed many students may be getting a tutor because standard learning methods aren't working for them. It is also essential that tutors create a safe learning space where students are free to ask questions and give opinions.
