What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I’ve always enjoyed helping peers and younger students understand tough topics as it gives me a sense of satisfaction knowing I’ve helped them learn. Moreover, I love to problem-solve and think of finding a suitable explanation method for a student as a challenge that I enjoy. Overall, I really enjoy sharing the knowledge and experience I’ve gained as a student.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I’m a science and math oriented student currently studying engineering at the University of Adelaide. I graduated in Year 12 with an ATAR of 98.15, with strong results in subjects like Mathematics. My strengths lie in breaking down complex concepts into simpler ideas and using everyday examples to better understand topics. I try and modify strategies according to the student's needs to solve problems.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think it’s important for students to find a study strategy that works for them. I think it's important for a tutor to introduce different strategies and methods to their students. Moreover, the overall focus should be on helping students understand how and why things work, rather than relying solely on memorising formulas or definitions.
