What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I think what I enjoy most about tutoring is helping a student understand a concept which they may have been struggling with. One of the most rewarding feelings is when a student who has been struggling with a topic is able to grasp and understand the concept after explanation. Another aspect of tutoring I believe to be uniquely rewarding is to see and nurture a love for a subject in a student, whether that be maths, or science or english, seeing a students passions grow is always a rewarding experience.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths as a tutor are to present scenarios and concepts in a variety of different ways, and to present and provide real life examples which may help students conceptualise difficult to understand topics. I also believe my willingness to listen and compassion are both tools which can help in easing students anxieties surrounding studies, and will hopefully aid in creating a collaborative and comfortable environment. I also personally have a strong scientific background and have a passion for teaching and growing a passion for science in students!Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
In my opinion one of the most vital tools an educator must have is the ability to present a concept in a variety of different ways, in order to suit needs of the student. Tutoring and studying is not simply about memorisation, but about understanding and the ability to apply a given topic in a boarder perspective and connect areas of study. Above all I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is be understanding and caring.
