What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
During my previous position as an education support officer, I would assist teachers by going over curriculum in small groups of 1 - 5. I enjoyed seeing the students genuinely engaged with the subject at hand.
I often worked with children that required assistance to integrate into the classroom. And it has always been rewarding to see them succeed; be it in arithmetic, phonetics, reading, writing or collaborating with their peers in a constructive manner.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Strengths:
1. I have recently completed an entry level mathematics course at Murdoch University (fundamentals of mathematics) with a credit. I am currently pursuing my studies at RMIT.
2. I scored relatively well during high school (ATAR: 79.95) with subjects such as Literature, Modern history (revolutions), English, Physics, Global Politics, LOTE (Indonesian).
3. Five years of work experience as an Education Support Officer. So, I well versed in working children and engaging them in study.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor provides structured 1 on 1 learning to go over curriculum that they might need help understanding, revising on, and support with. Furthermore, Tutors aid in developing better study practices through demonstration and giving their client the experience that can transition into improved study habits.
