What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to reinforce and deepen my own understanding while helping others succeed. Its incredibly fulfilling to see someone grasp a concept they were struggling with and know I played a part in that growth. Beyond that, I see education as one of the most powerful tools for advancing our world. By sharing knowledge and supporting others in their learning journeys, I feel like I'm contributing, though modestly, to the progress of our society.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I am quite patient and able to explain concepts at multiple levels of understanding. It is part of my study technique to explain concepts as if I were speaking to a 5 year old, 10 year old, 15, etc. This is incredibly useful for gaining multiple perspectives on a topic which increases understanding.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Ultimately, there are two things. Teaching a student to be curious, and teaching a student how to learn. Education systems are designed to filter all kids through a rigid, structured system, which, although brilliant for most, loses the spirit of why we learn. Because we are curious! We like to see how things work, to investigate our world and discover the nature of it. School never teaches us that. Nor does it teach us how to learn.
