About Kynan
Flexibility in Learning
This tutor recognises that there are countless motivators for seeking out academic assistance, and concurrently countless different learning styles that come with them. As such, flexibility derived from not only past tutoring experience, but also deeper understanding of the subject matter than most underpins his teaching style.
Real Engineering Experience
Kynan is currently operating in a technical role for Monash Connected Autonomous Vehicles, designing and deploying self driving drones for international competition. Any students with engineering or other STEM related interests would benefit greatly from the expertise this brings, along with the passion to help nurture interests in the field.
Expertise in both Content and Practise
Kynan has tutored over a dozen high school and university age students, for at least a semester each in his capacity as a freelance tutor, with all reporting increased confidence in the taught content, and most demonstrating better understanding with improved grades. In addition, he is completing a double degree in aerospace engineering and physics, giving his teaching a solid technical bedrock.

Intuition around substitution and thinking of variables as "numbers" to avoid just trying to plug things into the calculator will need to be developed

Building confidence in her ability to perform in exam conditions will be important. She's clearly worked on the issues we noticed before and they're mostly addressed.
Charlotte was very engaged with the content and didn't look for shortcuts. Conceptually she had an intuitive grasp of the content.

Confidence is still the biggest issue, as algebra progress is a lot smoother with a little bit of encouragement.
