I encourage you to try and just do 1 or 2 questions of each chapter that you've covered in class or with me when you have to to ensure you can best consolidate your knowledge

The main thing elliot needs to work on is his motivation. I would recommend ongoing we take a break in the middle of our session to do something that makes him a little happier.
